					<description><![CDATA[The Algoma District School Board and the Huron-Superior Catholic District School Board advise parents that they are adjusting their PD Day schedule, such that Thursday, February 27, 2025 will be a Professional Development Day and therefore students will not attend school on that day.

As a result, the Professional Development Day scheduled for March 28th, 2025, is cancelled, and students will attend school on that day.]]></description>

				<title><![CDATA[Vaccine Pre-Registration Available for Students Aged 12-17 and Families]]></title>

					<description><![CDATA[The vaccine rollout across the province has accelerated in the last few weeks with first dose vaccinations. In Algoma, almost 65% of adults aged 18 and older have received at least one dose and over 55% for all Algoma residents of all ages.  Algoma Public Health continues to work with partners across Algoma to offer vaccination to those aged 12 and older. As vaccine continues to arrive, more clinics will be made available across our region.]]></description>
